Steven A. Jayson, Senior Associate

Steven Jayson focuses his practice on bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation. He represents debtors and creditors in all aspects of Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 cases, and Trustees in Chapter 7 cases. 


Steven earned his undergraduate degree from Montclair State University, where he graduated summa cum laude, and his Juris Doctor degree from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law in University Park, Pennsylvania (now Penn State Law School). While at Penn State Law School, he was a Journal Member for the Yearbook on Arbitration and Mediation, interned for the Honorable Ned. M. Rosenberg, in the Superior Court of New Jersey, and was a Fellow with The Center for the Study of Mergers and Acquisitions. 

Following law school, Steven owned and operated his own law firm for three years, focusing on general litigation and collections, and was a Senior Associate with the Law Offices of Alan R. Ackerman, focusing on general litigation, the purchase and sale of businesses and real estate, collections, and contract drafting.
